Trustee and Treasurer

Sue CannSue
Trustee & Fundraiser

Sue brings many years of personal business experience and dealing with the public, and the insight to share interesting and different ideas and ways of fundraising. She has been a member of MCC for over 14 years, offering her time and energy exhaustively to benefit others. Sue has many gifts but particularly in administrative duties and organisational tasks. She can usually be seen operating multimedia presentations during worship (which is more difficult than it looks whilst maintaining one’s own worship space) and she does this exceptionally well.

Sue has unique life experiences which have assisted her gift in hospitality, and she is often seen to step alongside people and help them to deal with the most difficult circumstances and make them feel welcome and supported.

Welcome and Membership Team Coordinator

Brian is the Coordinator of the Welcome & Membership Team.   He has been associated with MCC for over 20 years, and was a Board Member of River of Life MCC for the first four years of the Church in Dorchester before having a year off and has now come back on the Board.   His roles give him the opportunity of meeting lots of interesting people at ROL.   He feels privileged also to be part of the Worship Team, playing an active role in Worship most Sundays.

Brian and his partner Jonai have lived together in Fordington since the beginning of the millenium.   Brian still teaches Mathematics part-time, having formerly been a senior teacher at Thomas Hardye School.   He and Jonai enjoy travelling very much, having been to all sorts of unlikely places across the globe!

Nathan has been a part of many churches and denominations during his journey, learning new things and enjoying different parts of each.  He has served in many different roles in churches, but particularly in music, worship, preaching and teaching.

Nathan has been at River of Life for since relocating to Dorset and has served in a number of ministries since.  He is passionate about helping others to engage with their spirituality and moving forward in their own journeys.
