Welcoming, Exploring, Affirming

“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”
― Mahatma Gandhi

We are all learning every day in our lives.  Did you know that we only remember about 10% of what we read and yet when we are an active participant in learning, we remember 70% of the material.  So what better way to learn than through informal settings where we share our own stories.  At River of Life we offer opportunities for people to come together and share their journeys, whether that is through our multifaith work, Lent groups, over a meal or just a coffee.  Our experiences affect the lens through which we engage with the world and if we share our thinking we can learn about and from each other.  At River of Life we want to journey together rather than proselytise.

‘Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young.’  Henry Ford

We believe that nobody has the ultimate truth but we are all striving towards that.   Check the Calendar for your next opportunity to come along and put your experiential footprint in our River.
