Where this particular church came from

River of Life is an inclusive embracing community of faith founded in the worldwide Christian denomination of Metropolitan Community Churches.

A group of people from different traditions and backgrounds, with a shared desire to bring transformation, healing, acceptance and inclusivity to the word ‘church’ brought their gifts and skills together and River of Life was born.

In April 2009, we were accepted as a Registered Ltd Charity and continue to work in the county supporting local projects and other like-minded organisations.
